The Picnic Festival shall take place on Shalford Park in Guildford, on the 21st June 2009, starting at midday and ending at 10pm. This shall be a smaller, more intimate affair comprising of three music areas, the healing field, a market, food stands, get involved in the arts zone plus plenty more including, of course, a bar!!

This year we shall be running our event alongside our friends The Guildford Fiesta - "Guildford Fiesta is a small slice of carnival to celebrate the Guildford Summer Festival. This free event brings giant, colourful carnival costumes and the lively beats of samba music to Guildford for the day". The procession will join The Picnic Festival at around 13:30 on the day, led by Bloco Do Sul Samba drummers.
